I preached to the children

And they heard me yell.

But heard they still louder

My actions.

 

I preached to the adults

And they heard me yell.

But they heard me not

Nor saw me.

 

I preached to the preacher

And he heard me yell.

And in fear of the face of God

He fell.

 

I preached to the world

And they heard me yell.

And they stopped their ears

In neglect.
