Love is in the Air

there's a tiny fleeting feeling
with a soft romantic tingle
and a beautiful entrapment
of the body, soul, and mind.

it's a tender, bonding moment
when all time begins to waver
and the emptiness of sorrow
it begins to fade away

it's the only time when laughter
is so cruel, unforgiving
where the smile softly echoes
through eternity and more

a touch it is so gracious
and a throb of hope resurges
as the mind begins to realize
that love is in the air.
